Waterolor : January 27, 2012.
1. The best part of my paintings, are the bright bold colors because they stand out very well. The boldness is used very well throughout the paintings.
2. I could have done a bettter job with blending the colors better, and taking more time on the detail of the work, because it looks kind of sloppy.
3.The things that tie all my paintings together, are the different color of blues and reds. i also used bold colors, and used some sort of text in the painting.
4. The colors that i used throughout my paintings are cool colors such a blue. I also used color that stand out such as red. I used these colors because i feel that they bled well together, and give a good contrast to the painting.
5. I like watercolor technique, because it doesnt really matter if you mess up because somehow you can find a way to fix it easily.
6. I learned that you are very picky about clean up time. Its also hard to blend colors. The life lessson i learned from this project, is you have to put fourth the effort to make things work because if i didnt put fourth effot it wont loo as good.
7. I didn't really have a meaning to my paintings, it wasn't planned. I actually just looked up pictures on google that i wanted to paint and painted them. Iowa State isn't for sure where i am going in my future, but its one of my top choices.
8. I will apply all these skills that i learned during watercolor, to the next project, because i learned a lot about painting in general such as different brush strokes.
